Program Notes

This gorgeous work pulls as much emotion out of the notes as many a harder piece. Reminiscent of lush arrangements based on folk songs, this all-original composition revels in incredibly glorious sounds.

- Program Note from publisher

In the Shining of the Stars is a slow piece designed to produce a mood that is uplifting. Composed in 1996, it utilizes lush melodies and counterlines. The main and secondary themes are placed in different harmonic settings. The work is approximately four minutes in length, with many opportunities for artistic license.
