Ian Deterling
Biography
Ian Deterling (b. 1990) is an American composer, arranger, orchestrator, musician, and educator.
Mr. Deterling earned his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior and Master of Music, Composition from Stephen F. Austin State University.
Mr. Deterling has the goal of being able to support himself through composing and arranging music for all instruments, ensembles, and skill levels while developing strong professional relationships, creating new friendships, and giving back to the vibrant music community all around the world.
Mr. Deterling has had pieces performed in ten countries across five continents. His compositions have attracted the attention of members from the London Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan, the San Antonio Symphony, and the Woolmer Philharmonic Orchestra in Essex, United Kingdom.
