Program Notes
This Robert Allen holiday classic is given a swingin' big band type treatment by arranger Carl Strommen. It contains a variety of lush harmonic structures and clever changes in time signature to make it a unique and different arrangement of this popular Christmas tune. The use of a Jazz waltz in the middle of the piece is particularly interesting.
