Program Notes
Faustin Jeanjean and Maurice Jeanjean (1897-1968) were sons of the French clarinet pedagogue Paul Jeanjean. They appear to have jointly written Guisganderie for clarinet and piano in the mid-twentieth century. It is a highly virtuosic novelty show-off piece for clarinet.
