Program Notes

Georgian Court Fanfare is named for the famous landmark in New Jersey. Once a privately owned estate with beautiful gardens and amazing fountains, the area is now home to Georgian Court University. Much of the original landscape has been maintained for visitors, as well as for the over 1000 students that currently attend the university.

Georgian Court Fanfare was written for the 2008 North Jersey Area Wind Ensemble. The piece was premiered by the same group on January 13, 2008, with the composer conducting.
