Program Notes
The Florentainer emerged from one of a series of fake titles I wrote to fill a sample spreadsheet for the web design of newbandmusic.com.
Florentiner March by Julius Fučík gets combined with The Entertainer by Scott Joplin, and an exciting rag-march mashup ensues. There is also a one-note reference to Mnozil Brass's interpretation of The Florentiner.
