Program Notes

Featuring a variety of textures and styles, this original work has several opportunities for a horn soloist. Following a grandiose introduction, the dance-like theme is energetically embraced. A broad chorale section is the beginning of development which builds to the emotional musical conclusion.

- Program Note from publisher

Commissioned by the Kealing Wind Ensemble, Austin, Texas, Mark Gurgel, Director. Dedicated to the memory of Diane Gorzycki.
