Using melody from the Southern Harmony collection, the composer incorporates the age-old favorite hymn Prospect for the wonderful musical material of this stunning concert work. Opening quietly with the majestic hymn, it sets a spellbinding mood that builds to a lively and intriguing dance-like atmosphere before closing with a magnificent and thrilling finale.
