Program Notes

A re-interpretation of the classic Christmas carol Silent Night. All the elements of the original music have been altered through elongation of the melody, changing the key to minor, changing the meter to 6/8, re-harmonization, and a more polyphonic texture. The result is a dreamy music that extends the wonder and beauty of the original carol.
