Program Notes

Based on traditional Easter chants, Fantasia di Pasqua is a tremendous work to feature four players in a religiously inspired work. Often this work is performed in church concerts or religious situations and, as such, the composer suggests that the quartet may be utilized performing from two galleries. This creates a wonderful double-choir effect that befits the Renaissance-like style of such great composers as Gabrieli. A truly inspired work to bring a touch of Renaissance class to your concerts.
