Program Notes

This rewarding composition begins with a stately fanfare introduction that leads directly to the appropriately titled furious section; this features a fast tempo and independent yet playable melodic lines that create a pulsating musical landscape. Followed by an adagio passage, the furious opening returns leading to an intense ending.
