Program Notes

This setting of the beloved carol O Come All Ye Faithful opens with a big maestoso fanfare followed by a trumpet soloist introducing the melody. The restatement occurs in the low brass with lots of upper woodwinds adding energy, and mallet percussion adding momentum, building to a big triumphant conclusion.
