Program Notes

An exceptional debut composition by a teenaged Japanese composer, it's a very impressive work that is going to be a big hit with bands everywhere. The opening movement features lively rhythms and tuneful melodies and includes an energy which will appeal to students and audiences alike! A delightful slower section includes solos for flute and trumpet which lay very well for those instruments.
