This transcription for concert band was completed in 1988 at the request of Lowell E. Graham, the conductor of the Air Combat Command Heritage of America Band, stationed at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. The premier of this work for band was performed at the Virginia Music Educators National Conference on March 14, 1988.
