Program Notes

This overture was written to portray the events in the life of a matador. Elements envisioned are the brave matador, the romantic life of the matador, the grand entry into the arena, the beginning of the bullfight with the bull rumbling in the background, the bull's charge, the death of the bull, and the acclaim for the matador.
