Program Notes

Magnificent writing for bands at the easy level, this work opens with the sounds of distant drums, as if echoing through the African rain forests. As players return to their "normal" places within the band, the various sections gradually come together in a joyous unified celebration. The music has been thoroughly researched to include authentic African patterns and includes performance and program notes on how to make your own percussion instruments and involve other departments in your school. Not just a piece of music, this is a performance experience your band, and the audience, will remember.
