Program Notes

Dances of Serenity was commissioned by the Del Valle High School Band [El Paso, Texas] in memory of Delia Ramirez, a sophomore band member whose life was tragically ended in an automobile accident. The music attempts to capture and represent her personality and friendships with her fellow band members.
