A strong flavor of the English countryside highlights the first half of the piece as both upper woodwinds and trumpets combine to provide thematic material that is both fun and lively.
Covington Square was commissioned by the Bucklin High School Band Parents and is dedicated to the Bucklin High School Concert Band, Bucklin, Kansas, Mike Brummett, director.
