Program Notes

Possibly the most powerful holiday concert work ever to come into print, this blending of the Coventry Carol, Lully, Lullay and the final chorus of Bach's Cantata No. 147 is a brilliant scoring for the contemporary concert band or wind ensemble. Inventive introductions weave into the familiar melodies, each of which builds to a dramatic conclusion.
