Program Notes

Life along the river was an important part of the development of our country -- here are four contrasting river scenes that give us a glimpse of that colorful time. The first scene is River in the Morn, followed by At the Landing, a fun ragtime-style section. The next, All Aboard, portrays passengers boarding the ferry, and Ferry Voyage brings the work to a flowing and distinct close.
