Program Notes
Go on a musical journey with Lewis and Clark and their Corps of Discovery team as they explore the American West in search of the Pacific Ocean. A brisk opening statement symbolizes the departure from St. Louis on the historic mission. The flowing middle section is heard as team members experience the many wonders of the vast Western frontier. The spirited opening theme returns as the Corps makes its triumphant voyage home.
