Chris Crockarell
Biography
Chris Crockarell (b. 22 April 1961) is an American percussionist and entrepreneur.
Chris began engaging in percussion performance at a very young age. He attended McGavock High School in Nashville, Tennessee, at a time when drum corps was becoming a captivating means for percussion performance. He marched with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps in 1981 and 1982 and attended North Texas State University (later renamed the University of North Texas).
In 1990, seeing a void in entertaining yet educational percussion literature, he and business partner Chris Brooks co-founded Row-Loff Productions. RLP soon became the global publishing leader in percussion literature. Since that time, Mr. Crockarell’s percussion music has been performed by countless up-and-coming musicians.
