Program Notes

Written by one of history's greatest xylophone players, George Hamilton Green, Charleston Capers was originally scored for xylophone and piano. It has appeared in several versions for xylophone and marimba trio or quartet, but appears here for the first time for solo xylophone and band. Capture all the fun of the Roarin' 20s with this showpiece!
