Biography
Cesar A. Gonzalez is a Mexican-born composer and percussionist.
He grew up in San Antonio, Tex., where he began his career as a musician. Cesar graduated from Texas State University in 2015 with a degree in music education.
He is an active percussion arranger and designer, working with with many marching bands and indoor percussion ensembles in central and south Texas. Cesar has been the director of percussion at Douglas MacArthur High School in San Antonio, TX, since 2015. He is also the ensemble director and designer for Violet Crown Independent, an independent indoor percussion organization also based in San Antonio.
