Carmen Gassi
Biography
Carmen Gassi is a Canadian composer, conductor, educator and performer.
Mr. Gassi received an undergraduate degree in theory and composition as well as a master's in clarinet performance and literature principal clarinet at the University of Western Ontario, London.
Mr. Gassi taught at the Scarborough Board of Education at Albert Campbell Collegiate and later at R.H. King Academy. He has taught music for the Halton Board of Education for the past 20 years and currently serves as head of arts & moderns at White Oaks Secondary School in Oakville Ontario.
Since 2012 Mr. Gassi has been the music director for the High Rendition Jazz Ensemble. He is principal clarinet and founding member of the Kindred Spirits Orchestra.
