Program Notes

This creative, somewhat dissonant flourish is scored in a brisk time. The piece makes use of metal kitchen mixing bowls as part of the percussion requirements. Conveying a fun, playful spirit, this colorful, full-sounding composition includes engaging melodic material, rhythmic variety, and effective contrasts of dynamics and texture.
