Program Notes
This traditional Bulgarian line dance in 15 (written as a bar of 4/4 followed by a bar of 7/8) happily introduces both band and audience to the rich musical traditions of Eastern Europe. This arrangement, which closely reflects the original, builds to a frenzy of joy.
