Biography

brin solomon (b. 1991, Canberra, Aus.) is a nonbinary American composer, theatre maker, and bassoonist.

After majoring in composition at Yale University, solomon earned its MFA in musical theatre writing at New York University's Tisch School in 2018. It also spent two years working as an archivist and assistant to Michael Feinstein in Los Angeles.

Its full-length musical Window Full of Moths has been hailed for its "extraordinary songs" that "add magic to otherwise ordinary lives," and its latest one-act, Have You Tried Not Being A Monster, has been described as "agitprop for Julia Serano."

brin solomon is nonbinary, uses the pronouns "it" "itself," and its name should be written in all lower case.
