Program Notes
Antiphon for Double Brass Choir was premiered on Apritl 7th, 1994, for the dedication of the Apex Field House, Lehman College, Bronx, New York. Antiphon may be performed with either two brass quartets or two brass quintets, at the discretion of the performers. The instrumentation for the premiere was a double brass quartet, each consisting of 2 trumpets, tenor trombone and bass trombone.
The work requires the performance of microtones.
