Anthony León (b. 14 February 1997, Riverside, Calif.) is an American singer, pianist, saxophonist and composer.
Mr. León's involvement with music began at an early age, and today he enjoys many styles of music. He is  a junior vocal performance major at La Sierra University, with additional studies on piano and saxophone. He studies voice under Javier Gonzalez and Vladimir Chernov. Musicians he has worked with include Dr. Raejin Lee, Fabiana Bravo, Dr. John Craig Johnson, Linette Rodríguez, Dr. Elvin S. Rodríguez, Sergio Leiva, Charlie Williams, and Dr. David Brennan. He is currently involved or has been involved with the La Sierra University Chamber Singers, La Sierra University Chorale, UNITED Vocal Group, La Sierra University Saxophone Quartet, La Sierra University Jazz Combos, La Sierra University Wind Ensemble, and La Sierra University Big Band.
Anthony participated in his first stage role in 2016 as the principal character, Frederic, in the operetta, The Pirates of Penzance, and has since then performed as the Witch in Englebert Humperdinck’s opera Hansel and Gretel. In 2018, Anthony will star as Tamino in La Sierra University’s production of The Magic Flute.
Notable honors that Anthony has received include third prize in the 2015 La Sierra University Promising Young Artist Scholarship Competition, first prize in the 2016 Marguerite Marsh Vocal Competition, selection as a first prize winner for the 2016 Redlands Bowl Young Artist Competition, first prize for the 2016 Raincross Chorale Competition, and first place in the 2017 Hal Leonard Vocal Competition, which is the first vocal competition to be held totally online. Most recently, he won the 2018 Grand Prize, the Specht-Guy award, for the 60th Annual Concerto Competition at La Sierra University.
Anthony has also been involved in many recording projects, starting with a solo saxophone album when he was 14 years old, Fill the World With Love, and including Live in Concert, True Light and Together We Will Praise. As a vocalist, Anthony has toured the United States and Latin America.
