Depicting an epic journey through ancient lands to find a mythical amulet, this programmatic composition is a challenging and engaging work. Using traditional harmonic and rhythmic components while also using contemporary techniques, aleatoric percussion, and improvised solos to tell the story, this composition offers cultural opportunities while also entertaining audiences.
