Program Notes

A delightful medley of three “Angel” carols that builds to an exciting finish topped by an optional descant trumpet (only goes up to a written G). Carols included are “Angels We Have Heard On High”, “Hark The Herald Angels Sing”, and “Angels From The Realms of Glory”. Features a beautiful brass chorale and since it is well cued, it can be performed successfully even with small bands.

An Angelic Christmas is dedicated to the Perinton Concert Band (Fairport, New York), Charles VanBuren, conductor.
