Program Notes

"We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children." This Native American proverb was the inspiration for this original composition that musically reflects that sentiment and conveys the inherent beauty, majesty and grandeur of planet Earth. From its stunning mountain ranges to its jagged coastlines, from its sweeping plains to the vastness of its lakes and oceans, Mother Earth is a complex and constantly changing place, and a stern but loving and benevolent harbor of life.
