Program Notes

Aminosque is a simple statement of the strength and courage we all need during this time of uncertainty, and an uplifting piece for students and listeners alike. It is a great grade 2 for flex band, very upbeat and with many teaching moments. The piece is almost a fanfare, but more lyrical. It is written for five parts and percussion, with many percussion parts for the bigger sections.

Clarinet parts 2 and 3 never go over the break. Your students will love learning the concepts and playing this piece even if learning is distanced. 6 click tracks are included in the link below, 3 at tempo and 3 at a slower practice tempo.
