Program Notes
An original work for brass quintet and one of the first works written specifically for this ensemble, Adventures of a Tin Horn depicts some of the many styles associated with brass playing, including a fanfare with flutter tonguing and bends, marching, a pretty andante, and finishing with a swinging blues.
