Program Notes
High praise and recognition of achievement - both are evident in this glorious piece. Written to honor a special person, it glows with hope and positivity.
-Program Note from publisher
The length and brassiness of this selection would make it a fine concert opener. The brass section is featured prominently at the beginning and end of the song, and the woodwinds and mallets have some excellent counter lines. The chart requires a minimum of six percussionists, and there are some great parts for the timpanist.
- Program Note from The Instrumentalist, May 2014
Dedicated to Mr. Jon Barbarotto, member of Phi Beta Mu Hall of Fame, and an inspiration to generations of music educators.
