Program Notes

Two of Percy Grainger's "bunch of musical wildflowers," Harkstow Grange and The Lost Lady Found, have been effectively arranged for elementary bands. Grainger's signature style and unique harmonic palette are evident in both movements; there is an abundance of music to be found while introducing this master composer and his contribution to our rich musical heritage.
