Biography

Tomoki Kawade (b. 6 January 1966, Gifu, Japan) is a Japanese composer and arranger.

After graduating from Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music with a degree in composition, Tomoki Kawade composed Shaei no Iseki (Stones in Time) for Wind Band, which won the 1st Asahi Composition Award (for wind band) in 1990, and was selected as the requied piece of the All-Japan Wind Band Competition.

He then formed Bounceback with lyricist Emiko Takeuchi, a group of songwriting, composing, and arrangement. He mainly composes pop music.
