Biography
Tim Jackson (b. 1972, Preston, UK) is currently principal horn with the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
At the age of fifteen Jackson was awarded a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music. He was a member of the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, for five years and now performs as guest principal horn with orchestras throughout the UK and Europe. He has appeared as soloist with orchestras including the Manchester Camerata and the London Mozart Players.
Timothy is Composer-in-Association with Onyx Brass, and has received commissions from groups as diverse as the Academy of Saint Martin in the Fields, British Telecom, and the Halle Orchestra.
