Talking Points was inspired by an American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) grassroots trip to Washington, D. C. While in Washington, ASCAP members from all corners of the musical spectrum representing Iowa met with Senator Charles Grassley to discuss internet and copyright laws.
