Notes from Small Band Repertoire Initiative
Challenges to the ensemble:The work challenges listening and dovetailing entrances and releases. An oboist is preferred for key entrances but the piece can adapted, if needed, to cover. The work is safely scored yet high quality.
Successful solutions: It can be successfully performed by and ensemble of ~35 players.
