Rehearsal

The following comments appear in the conductor's score as program notes and are given by Richard Saucedo himself:

Because of the very exposed solo work and crucial percussion grooves, care should be taken to rehearse the piece slowly, dissecting the different voices in each section one at a time, then putting them back together as soon as the roles of each part have been clearly defined. I strongly suggest using an amplified metronome when rehearsing the work, even using the 16th note subdivision at times.
