Program Notes
This energetic composition conveys the notion that the bond between the sections of a band is working together toward a common end. Scored in ABA form, the piece includes a driving opening passage, contrasting woodwind choir and brass choir sections supported by interesting material in the opposite choir and percussion, hand clapping in the woodwinds, and a driving final section that brings the piece to a rousing conclusion.
