Program Notes

Three years after we announced a song called Suite for Small Band, in 2012, flexibility has become one of the genres that we must now have. Since demand has increased, we will soon release the second volume. So this time I wrote this Suite for Small Band No. 2.

The song consists of four movements. Ⅰ Intrada refers to the beginning of other movements as a march, but this time the final movement is a march, so I made it a bit strict. Ⅱ Scherzo has the meaning of "fake", but it was made into a minor and tragic and comical atmosphere. Ⅲ Minuet is an image of a warm three beats that you can feel "gentleness", and Ⅳ March is an energetic child. The aim is for a toy box-like suite with various musical tones. Each one is very short, but I would appreciate it if you could make the story look like a short movie.
