Program Notes

Everyone Danced is joyful, colorful and expressive. It may be performed as a companion piece to “Winter’s End,” from Sanctuary. Themes and theme fragments from the somber, yet hope-filled ,“Winter’s End” dance happily in this second and final movement, thus the title, “Everyone Danced.” Both movements may be played together or separately as stand-alone pieces.
