Program Notes
Everyone's attention is immediately captured as the beautiful sounds of tolling bells announce the holiday season. A sensitive introduction launches a wonderful blend of two compatible melodies, I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day and Ode to Joy. Here is a supremely atmospheric setting for traditional holiday concerts.
