Program Notes

Different moods of the holiday season are portrayed in this arrangement of four old Christmas melodies - the 14th century German carol, Resonet In Laudibus (Resounding With Praise), a 13th century plainsong chant, Divinum Mysterium (Divine Mystery), the French carol Angels We Have Heard On High and In The Bleak Midwinter, first harmonized by Gustav Holst.
