Program Notes
Psalms for a Great Country was commissioned for the American Bandmasters Association. It was premiered in San Antonio by the United States Marine Band with James Keene conducting. The work is in two movements, titled For the Places and For the People. The piece is united by a four note pitch set and its inversion.
