Program Notes

Very quiet and subdued, a clarinet choir softly begins while instruments are gradually added with each phrase. Beautiful melodic lines are softly created, stressing the musical aspects of performance. Gradually the ensemble builds to a full climax before subsiding to a peaceful and quiet close. Technical demands are few with the emphasis being placed on phrasing, balance and blend.
