Biography

Paulus Anna Jacobus Dzon (b. 18 June 1957, Maastricht, The Netherlands) is a Dutch composer, conductor and teacher.

Dzon began his musical career at age 12, playing clarinet in the De Gele Rijders wind band in his home town. He studied clarinet at the Maastricht Conservatory with B. van de Akker, and conducting with Cardous and Koekelkoren. He became a music docent in clarinet in 1979, directed a band in 1980, and taught clarinet in 1981.

Mr. Dzon was a clarinetist with the Royal Netherlands Navy Band from 1980 to 2008.
